Nepotism : Beginning of Partiality



Nepotism is the act of promoting the relatives to the top positions regardless of any relevant skills. Nepotism is a sort of partiality, which we are observing in every fields where instead of talented and skilled people, one from a well known family are given the first preferences.  

Nepotism is the biggest reason of failure behind any country's development. Nepotism can be seen in various fields like political, Employment, Business, Entertainment and many more. Many countries are facing this problem and India is among one of them. People's skills are not acknowledged in their own country due to which they have to justify themselves outside of their own country. They can be the important element in developing the country but due to the nepotism, they are helpless to work outside and becomes the factor in some other country's development. When nepotism enters the politics, it breaks the spine of the country and makes it weak. After a time period due to nepotism, the competition from that field starts to demolish and people starts to backing off. And it is well said that there will not be any correction and development without any competition. Competition is must to improve skills.

Nepotism directly or indirectly affect the equilibrium of a victims mind. The victim feels to be separated out all though having brilliant skills, which brokes the person from inside. Outsiders of a particular industry are not given respect and even work also ,due to this nepotism. Which brings the person in an state of isolation. Many people goes in depression and mental traumas due to this type of treatment. . Results of partiality and nepotism can take a very worst and devastation place. people supporting nepotism are always in a fear of loosing their name with the influence of a talented outsider. This love towards name and fame is the reason behind this nepotism.

It is good to see that in private employment sector, this nepotism is very negligible but in government employment it is still present. And in industries like movie, music, entertainment, politics, it is still there on a large extent. We should focus on improving ourselves rather than cutting the rope of a deserving person. We are not saying that do not promote your relatives but promote on the basis of their capabilities and skills. Its really very important for us to raise our country because only this can give us the strength to stand among other countries in the upcoming years.

    Nepotism is the outrageous act of dominance striving to curb the zealous and self groomed worldlings under the shield of patriachry!
    This truly needs a closure asap !
